Worried About Insurance?
OB/GYN Associates of Erie is proud to be one of the only independent OB/GYN practices in Erie that continues to accept all major insurance plans – Including HIGHMARK and UPMC.
Our physicians and midwives will continue to provide services at both Saint Vincent Hospital and Magee-Womens UPMC Hamot.
Financial & Insurance Information
We accept most managed care and commercial health insurance. Forms of payment also include all major credit cards, cash and checks.
Insurance Questions
Our administrative staff is available to assist patients with the necessary insurance and referral requirements. You may verify that we are a preferred provider for your particular insurance when you call to request an appointment.
OB-GYN Associates of Erie, PC has an onsite billing office located at our Peach St. office in Erie. The billing office staff is responsible for entering office and hospital charges, entering insurance and patient payments, sending out patient statements, and sending out insurance claims. Our billing team is comprised of six full-time staff members and two part-time staff members and includes:
- Four certified coders
- Full-time staff member dedicated to completing patient FMLA and disability forms

Ohio Medicaid
Attention Ohio Medicaid Patients:
As of October 1st, 2022, we can only accept the following Ohio Medicaid plans: - -

- Molina
- Ohio Medicaid
- United Healthcare Community Plan of Ohio
If you would like to switch to a different plan, you may contact Ohio Department of Medicaid customer service at 1-800-324-8680 or www.ohiomh.com.
If you do not wish to change insurance plans, please ask our staff about self-payment.
Disability/FMLA information
Please include patient name on all forms submitted. Forms may be dropped off at any office location and will be completed within 5-7 business days. Please indicate to whom the form should be returned to. We can fax to employer or disability company, pick up at office location, or mail to the patient. There is a $10.00 fee for each form the office completes.
